Premium high-voltage power pentode. An extremely faithful reissue of the XF2 Mullard EL34 from the 1960s.

Miniature medium-mu twin triode each section of which as a separate cathode connection. The tube is suited for use in a wide variety of general-purpose amplifier and mixer circuits as well as numerous multi-vibrator and oscillator applications.

The all new TAD-EL84-STR Redbase brings together the best of both - the famous EL84-Cz and the EL84M. We opted for the thickest glass possible and the heaviest construction available, just like the Russian EL84M, and combined these features with the sonically most promising cathode plate options, in order to meet and exceed the tonal quality of the EL84-Cz especially with regard to its linearity over the entire frequency range. Finally we added the gold grid wire in order to improve overall reliability. The sound can be described as very harmonic in the middle and treble frequencies, without adding too much power to the bass. The result is the best EL84 in current production. Note: Due to its diameter of 22.5mm, the TAD EL84-STR does not fit into older Marshall DSL401 made till week #20 in 2014 and the UK made VOX AC15 TBX amplifiers from the same time period.

Sharp-cutoff pentode of the 9-pin miniature type intended for use as an audio amplifier in applications requiring reduced microphonics, leakage noise, and hum.

A different construction of the classic EL34 tube that offers a different tonal palette than the original. This tube has a more compact plate structure than standard EL34’s. The JJ EL34 II has an increased low to low-mid end with plenty of headroom to spare. The JJ EL34 II is stronger than the original but not harsh sounding in any way.

Metal duplex-diode high-mu triode. It is intended primarily for use as a combined detector, amplifier, and automatic-volume-control tube in radio receivers.

Pentode amplifier having a remote control grid characteristic and utilizing the miniature construction. As a RF amplifier, it is characterized by high transconductance and low grid-plate capacitance.

The new Tube Amp Doctor premium selected 12AX7 /ECC83-WA is a low-noise and low microphonic version of the 12AX7. The ECC83-WA Premium Selected has a balanced tone with a notable emphasis of the mids. The overall linear sound offers great string attack and chord separation. The low end is well defined. The result is a tone that works well in both modern amps but also vintage guitar amplifiers. Genalex Gold Lion ECC83/B759 (12AX7) dual triode preamp tube with gold pins. Original Genalex Gold Lion ECC83/B759 tubes are considered among the best 12AX7 types ever made. They are hard to find and when they are available, they are expensive. They exhibit a large detailed soundstage that is sought after by discerning audiophiles who demand the highest quality sound. The reissue Genalex Gold Lion ECC83/B759 recreates the sound signature of the original. This tube features balanced sections and gold plated pins.

The 6AL5 combines two independent diode units in the 7 pin miniature construction. Its high perveance permits high efficiency in either FM or AM detector service.

The Sovtek 5881WXT is the same as the 5881 but with a full size base for easy installation in vintage amp designs. The Sovtek 5881 delivers a warm, round tone that "sweetens" any vintage or modern guitar amp design. Built to rigid military standards, the 5881 will tolerate higher voltages than any other 6L6. In fact, they're frequently used as replacements for the old 7027 model in vintage Ampegs. Extremely consistent from piece to piece. The Sovtek 5881 has a heater voltage of 6.3 volts at 0.88 amperes.

A reproduction of the original tubes that captures the sound that made the KT77 famous. In their typical fashion, JJ has built this tube in a solid construction that is robust and highly reliable. This tube has more headroom than a typical EL34. This is an excellent tube for adding more power to the sound of an EL34 amp.
