Power pentode for output stages of high fidelity audio-amplifiers and radio receivers

This is a set of measured vacuum tubes for use in TV-7 vacuum tube tester calibration. The values for each vacuum tube will be measured and included for the purpose of calibrating your own TV-7 tester at home. Steps for this calibration can be found online. Three tubes will be included:

• 6AU6
• 12AT7

Tung Sol 6L6G power pentode tube. Made in Russia. Large bottle type for the look and sound of 6L6 tubes used during the golden age of hi-fi in the 1940s and early 1950s. Uprated to 6L6GC specs for improved performance and reliability.

Triode, Double, Western Electric brand

Sovtek 6A3 power triode tube. Made in Russia.

Beam type aligned grid power amplifier. It has a unipotential oxide-coated cathode, a hard glass nonex bulb, and a glass base with short tungsten leads. The tube has a heater designed to operate from a 6.3 volt supply.

Electro-Harmonix KT90 power tube. Made in Russia.
Absolutely the best KT90 ever developed. Wafer base height of 0.34”.

A beam tetrode with an absolute maximum anode dissipation rating of 32 watts. The KT77 is designed for use in the output stage of an af amplifier. Two valves in Class AB1 give a continuous output of over 70 W.

New-Old-Stock (NOS) tube. The 7189A is a power-amplifier pentode designed for use in the audio-frequency power output stage of television and radio receivers and high-fidelity amplifiers. It differs from the 7189 in having a higher screen-voltage rating and in specifying the internal connections to pins 1 and 6. See T-7189

New-Old-Stock (NOS) tube. The 7189 is a power-amplifier pentode designed for use in the audio-frequency power output stage of television and radio receivers and high-fidelity amplifiers. It differs from the 7189A in having a lower screen-voltage rating and no internal connections to pins 1 and 6. It cannot be used as a replacement for a 7591A in most situations.
