The 5R4GY is designed for rectifier use in equipment requiring a high peak inverse voltage rating. Satisfactory operation of this tube type under conditions falling within area 1 on curve no 1 may be obtained without filament preheating.

Full-wave rectifier of the heater-cathode type intended for use in AC operated and automobile receivers. Because of its heater-cathode construction it has the same heating time as that of other heater-cathode types in the receiver.

New-Old-Stock (NOS) tube. The 35Z3 is a half-wave high-vacuum rectifier designed for use in a-c/d-c receivers. Electrically the 35Z3 is equivalent to the 35Z5GT except that the heater of the 35Z3 is not tapped for operation of a panel lamp. The 35Z3 is a loctal-based tube (compared to the octal base of the 35Z5GT.)

Filamentary twin diode designed for use as a full-wave rectifier in the power supply of television receivers or other equipment which has high direct-current requirements. The 5U4GB may be used a replacement for either the 5U4G or the 5U4GA.

Heater type vacuum twin diode using the lock-in construction. It is intended for use as a full-wave rectifier in either AC or storage operated equipment where economy of heater power is desired.
