In terms of sound, the TAD 6L6GCM-STR REDBASE produces the powerful but always defined bass response known from the legendary american built NOS RCA 6L6GC, with clear, unobtrusive and yet transparent highs. In every setting, the TAD 6L6GCM-STR REDBASE responds directly and with noticeable dynamics, from buttery soft and warm to powerful and brutal without losing any details or depth.

This makes the TAD 6L6GCM-STR an effective upgrade for every amplifier using 6L6GC or 5881 tubes; also replaces any EL37, CV586, VT115A, 6L6GA, 6L6GB, 6L6WGB, 6L6WGC, STR-440, STR-454, 6p3p, 6p3s, 6p3s-e etc.

The TAD 6L6GCM-STR REDBASE combines the structural advantages of the robust American Philips / Sylvania 6L6GC, also known as MESA 6L6GC-STR415, and the sound quality of the legendary RCA 6L6GC tubes. Silky highs, defined, deep bass and lots of headroom recommend the TAD 6L6GCM-STR REDBASE for lively clean sounds as well as a powerful broadband power amplifier for multi-channel amps.

The new TAD Redbase series combines the latest manufacturing technologies with traditional design and flawless quality. The TAD Redbase series is exclusively built on a TAD production line that has been optimized especially for the TAD Redbase series. At TAD in Germany, the tubes of the STR series receive a special, additional burn-in treatment and formatting process in preparation for the TAD Premium.Matching, which optimizes the quality of the cathode emission and opens up an exceptionally detailed sound structure.
