Stripboard made with a phenolic substrate. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This stripboard features a 0.15” vintage spacing. This spacing is great for vintage-style builds and more easily accommodates axial capacitors and other larger sized vintage parts like resistors and transistors. The board has a 40 x 20 holes (20 strips). Each strip is surface treated making soldering easier than most protoboards and also ensures a long shelf life. Instrument and amp jacks are notorious for coming loose. And with a shallow nut and recessed cavity, access can be challenging. Until now, that is. Prototyping circuit board that has a general purpose pad-per-hole pattern making it great for general purpose analog and digital use. It is a double-sided board with plated holes, which allows components to be easily soldered to either side of the board. A square pad is provided every 5th hole, which makes it easy to align components on the top and bottom of the board. An anti-tarnish coating protects the copper for a long shelf-life and provides easy soldering.

Fret Cutters. Use to trim the ends of new fret wire close to the fingerboard without leaving marks. Made in Japan. Dimensions:

Solderless (plug-in) breadboard with 400 connection tie-points (i.e. 400 wire insertion holes) and 4 power rails. Solderless breadboards are great for building and testing new circuits because parts can be easily inserted and removed making them completely re-usable. This breadboard has a 300 tie-point IC-circuit area plus four 25 tie-point power rails. The housing is made of white ABS plastic, with a printed legend giving numbers and letters for columns and rows. Spring loaded center punch with an adjustable force for aligning pilot holes when drilling into materials. The large handle makes the push-to-strike action simple and accurate. Rotating the red handle adjusts the force amount.

ST3U StripBoard is a prototyping circuit board with a standard long strip pattern. Tracks run the length of the board. The long tracks are convenient for power and ground rails, and for signal buses. Strips can be cut as needed to make smaller tracks and circuit pads. It has 0.1" hole spacing for DIP integrated circuits and headers and other parts. It has higher quality than traditional stripboard. The holes are drilled, not punched. The base material is high-quality FR4 glass epoxy board. It has better stability and moisture resistance than boards using phenolic or SRBP (synthetic resin bonded paper), which can warp with exposure to humidity. Features

Bob Smith Industries INSTA-SET™ CA (super glue) Accelerator. INSTA-SET™ is a catalyst which acts as an accelerator that allows CAs to quickly cure in thick layers by enhancing the alkaline conditions during polymerization. INSTA-SET™ in a spray bottle is normally used to cure the CA that flows from joints when parts are pressed together. Applying an additional bead of thick CA along a seam and then curing it with INSTA-SET™ significantly enhances a joint’s strength. For difficult to bond materials, INSTA-SET™ can be applied to one surface and CA to the opposite surface. When brought together, they will bond instantly. INSTA-SET™ is formulated with a strawberry scent and activates CA in 6 to 8 seconds without any degrading of the CAs strength, which can occur with many other accelerators. It is compatible with all surfaces, even clear plastic and white foam.
