The BC183L is a general purpose NPN transistor in a TO-92 case. The BC183L is commonly used in fuzz pedals and has a reputation as a warm sounding silicon transistor for fuzz. The BAT41 is a schottky diode used in many DIY projects. General purpose metal to silicon diode featuring very low turn-on voltage and fast switching. This device has integrated protection against excessive voltage such as electrostatic discharges.

Small black plastic control knob with set screw and brass insert. These unique knobs are similar in style to the Davies 1140. They have a thick decorative knurl. A white dot as well as a vertical cutout channel serve as the indicator. Fits ¼” (6.35mm) pot shafts.

High quality single row machine pin sockets made by Preci-Dip. These sockets are the break-away type and can easily snap into smaller sizes such as 5 separate transistor sockets.

LT1054 switched-capacitor voltage converter with regulator in an 8 pin DIP package. The LT1054 device is a bipolar, switched-capacitor voltage converter with regulator. It provides higher output current and significantly lower voltage losses than previously available converters. An adaptive-switch drive scheme optimizes efficiency over a wide range of output currents. Total voltage drop at 100-mA output current typically is 1.1 V. This applies to the full supply-voltage range of 3.5 V to 15 V. Quiescent current typically is 2.5 mA. The LT1054 also provides regulation, a feature previously not available in switched-capacitor voltage converters. By adding an external resistive divider, a regulated output can be obtained. This output is regulated against changes in both input voltage and output current. The LT1054 can also shut down by grounding the feedback terminal.

The Switchcraft Type 112BX enclosed ¼” jack is a high quality jack. This jack has three solder lugs. One for the tip, one for the ring, and one for the sleeve. These jacks have been widely used across the industry and can also be found in many popular 5U synthesizers. Includes nut and washer.

PCB mounted 3.5mm stereo jacks commonly found in DIY Eurorack projects. These are the newest version from Qingpu Electronics featuring a square bushing plate for added durability. Hardware sold separately. See accessory items below.

The LM13700 series consists of two current controlled transconductance amplifiers, each with differential inputs and a push-pull output. The two amplifiers share common supplies but otherwise operate independently. Linearizing diodes are provided at the inputs to reduce distortion and allow higher input levels. The result is a 10-dB signal-to-noise improvement referenced to 0.5 percent THD. High impedance buffers are provided which are especially designed to complement the dynamic range of the amplifiers. The output buffers of the LM13700 differ from those of the LM13600 in that their input bias currents (and thus their output DC levels) are independent of IABC.

High-quality USA made knobs from Rogan Corp. These large, skirted pointer knobs from Rogan’s PT Series feature a soft rubber grip molded over a solid polymer knob. PT Series knobs can be found on synthesizer modules from Make Noise, Mutable Instruments and others. Fits 6mm D-shafts.

Dual Operational Amplifier. The NJM4558 (JRC4558) integrated circuit is a dual high-gain operational amplifier internally compensated and constructed on a single silicon chip using an advanced epitaxial process. Combining the features of the NJM741 with the close parameter matching and tracking of a dual device on a monolithic chip results in unique performance characteristics. Excellent channel separation allows the use of the dual device in single NJM741 operational amplifier applications providing density. Threaded through dress nuts for use with mini toggle switches. Unlike the other versions of this dress nut, this nut is not capped allowing the nut to thread past the top of the switch’s bushing. The uncapped top can be useful where internal depth is an issue such as parallel PCB mounting. These plated dress nuts feature a chamfered edge for a professional look and work on any 1/4-40 UNS threaded bushing. Two sides are flatted for use with a tool when fastening.
