The second of two legendary SSM filter updates, the FatKeys™ SSI2144 is a dedicated four-pole low-pass ladder filter with on-chip resonance control. Original designer Dave Rossum did a number of performance updates such as lower noise, improved control feedthrough, and logical pin grouping but otherwise left this sweet-sounding VCF alone. The SSI2144 reprises the SSM2044 of legacy chipmaker Solid State Micro Technology, which many believe to be the best-sounding analog synthesis filter IC ever produced. Based on Dave Rossum’s patented classic improved ladder topology, the SSI2144 allows rich tonal characteristics that showcase the very best attributes of subtractive synthesis. The SSI2144 uses the same internal circuit as the SSM2044 but incorporates improvements by the original designer and takes advantage of modern process technology.

The 2N2484 is a silicon planar epitaxial NPN transistor in a TO-18 metal case type. The 2N2484 is primarily intended for use in high performance, low level, low noise amplifier applications.

Dual low power opamps in an 8-pin DIP package. The TL062 offers a high input impedance and 1MHz bandwidth.

The Accu-Bell Effector offers reverb, chorus, and delay with adjustable setting and tap tempo. This module runs on 5.5V to 9.5V DC so it is easy to incorporate into effect pedal builds. Please see the attached datasheet for an example schematic.

1MΩ dual-gang 16mm potentiometers with a solid shaft and an audio taper. These pots have right angle PCB mount terminals. The smaller size is useful for builds with limited panel space such as guitar pedals, synthesizer modules, and adding modifications to equipment. Washer and nut included.

Stripboard made with a phenolic substrate. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This stripboard features a 0.15” vintage spacing. This spacing is great for vintage-style builds and more easily accommodates axial capacitors and other larger sized vintage parts like resistors and transistors. The board has a 40 x 20 holes (20 strips). Each strip is surface treated making soldering easier than most protoboards and also ensures a long shelf life. The AS3340A is Alfa’s version of the CEM3340 IC. The AS3340A is a completely self-contained, precision voltage controlled oscillator, featuring both exponential and linear control scales and up to four buffered output waveforms: triangle, sawtooth, square, and pulse with voltage controllable pulse width. Full temperature compensation makes these VCOs extremely stable, and eliminates the need for a temperature compensation resistor. The highly accurate exponential and linear control inputs are virtual ground summing nodes, allowing multiple control voltages to be mixed within the device itself.
Also included is provision for hard and soft synchronization of the frequency, and an output for easy adjustment of high frequency tracking. Special care in the design ensures oscillation start-up under any power-on sequence and supply conditions.
An on-chip 7.4 volt Zener diode allows the device to operate off ±15 volt supplies, as well as +12, -5 volt supplies.

TL022 dual op amp in an 8-pin DIP package. The TL022 is a dual low-power operational amplifier designed to replace higher power devices in many applications without sacrificing system performance. High input impedance, low supply currents, and low equivalent input noise voltage over a wide range of operating supply voltages result in an extremely versatile operational amplifier for use in a variety of analog applications including battery-operated circuits.

The CD4069UB device consists of six CMOS inverter circuits. These devices are intended for all general-purpose inverter applications where the medium-power TTL-drive and logic-level-conversion capabilities of circuits such as the CD4009 and CD4049 hex inverter and buffers are not required. The NJM2120 is a dual operational amplifier of 2-INPUT and 1-OUTPUT with analog switch. The NJM2120 can be used as analog switch under the condition of GV=0dB, as Switch + Amp in order that each gain (A or B) can be adjusted independently. Each amplifier of the NJM2120 has the same electrical characteristics as the NJM4558. The NJM2120 is suitable for audio, video, electrical musical instrument, etc.

Snap-in Lumberg panel mount barrel jack with solder lugs. This high quality jack is a similar size to the Lumberg low profile jack but easily snaps into place with no need to thread a nut inside the chassis. For use with barrel plugs with a 5.5mm external diameter and 2.1mm internal diameter.

LM833 dual op amp in an 8-pin dip package. The LM833 is a dual general purpose operational amplifier designed with particular emphasis on performance in audio systems. This dual amplifier IC utilizes new circuit and processing techniques to deliver low noise, high speed and wide bandwidth without increasing external components or decreasing stability. The LM833 is internally compensated for all closed loop gains and is therefore optimized for all preamp and high level stages in PCM and HiFi systems. Combination Drive, Colored Head Binding Screws, 6mm, M3, zinc. Designed to go through a hole or nut that is pre-tapped to form a mating thread for the screw. Phillips drive is the most common drive used and is designed to "camout" when the screw reaches optimum tightness, thus preventing damage to the screw head.

PCB for converting SMD SOIC-16 packages to through hole DIP-16 footprints. Solder the device to this PCB then attach pin headers (sold seperately) to connect to through hole footprints on PCBs, breadboards and IC sockets. This adapter is also compatible with SOP-16 packages.

Quad low-power opamps in an 14-pin DIP package. The LM324 offers a 1MHz bandwidth and can be powered from a single supply.

TI377 PNP germanium transistors from Texas Instruments. The TI377 is a great PNP for fuzz pedals and other effects. This transistor is in a metal SO-2 package with long leads commonly found on germanium transistors. This package with the gold leads visually matches the 2G308, 2G309, and 2G381 transistors found in Zonk and Tonebender MKI fuzz pedals.

High-quality USA made knobs from Rogan Corp. These medium pointer knobs from Rogan’s PT Series feature a soft rubber grip molded over a solid polymer knob. PT Series knobs can be found on synthesizer modules from Make Noise, Mutable Instruments and others. Fits 6mm D-shafts.

New-old-stock Soviet silicon diodes KD522B (КД522Б) in a SOD27 package. These diodes were used in EHX/Sovtek Big Muff models from Civil War to Black Russian. The KD522B is a high-speed switching diode encapsulated in hermetically sealed, leaded glass. The SOD27 packages are similar to DO-35.

Premium two position DPDT submini toggle switches from Gorva Design. The Bascular Sub Mini switches have a medium 7.37mm actuator length. These switches feature silver plated copper alloy contacts. The bushing is smooth and the switch is secured with the mounting bracket on the PCB. RoHS compliant & lead-free. Details
