The AS3046 is Alfa’s version of the CA3046 IC in an SOIC package. The AS3046D consists of five general purpose silicon NPN transistors on a common monolithic substrate. Two of the transistors are internally connected to form a differentially-connected pair. The transistors are well suited to a wide variety of applications in low power systems. They may be used as discrete transistors in conventional circuits however, in addition, they provide the very significant inherent integrated circuit advantages of close electrical and thermal matching. The AS3046D is available in a 14-pin SOIC package. Features

Original Orange™ amp knob with hex set screw. Fits 6 mm diameter shaft. Black top-hat style knob with with white dot indicator.

OC46 PNP germanium transistors. The OC46 is a popular PNP for fuzz pedals and boost effects. It can be found in vintage electronics and modern fuzz pedals. This transistor is in a black glass SO-2 package with long leads commonly found on germanium transistors.

TL084 quad op amp in a 14-pin DIP package. These devices are low cost, high speed, dual JFET input operational amplifiers with an internally trimmed input offset voltage ( BI-FET II™ technology). They require low supply current yet maintain a large gain bandwidth product and fast slew rate. In addition, well matched high voltage JFET input devices provide very low input bias and offset currents. The TL082 is pin compatible with the standard LM1558 allowing designers to immediately upgrade the overall performance of existing LM1558 and most LM358 designs. These amplifiers may be used in applications such as high speed integrators, fast D/A converters, sample and hold circuits and many other circuits requiring low input offset voltage, low input bias current, high input impedance, high slew rate and wide bandwidth.

High quality TO package transistor sockets by Mill-Max. These machine pin sockets make swapping transistors in pedals and other projects a simple process. These use a standard TO footprint so they are ready for use on PCBs with matching footprints.

Steel, type A narrow. SAE washers have a tighter fit on the bolt and a smaller outside diameter. Designed for general purpose mechanical and structural use.

High quality phenolic pointer knob with a vintage design. The retro pointer has a thick band that extends above the base allowing for easy manipulation of the knob making it a great option for rotary controls and switches. This solid phenolic knob has an infilled indicator line with a decorative diamond shaped top. Fits 0.25” (6.35mm) shafts with set screw and brass insert. This knob pairs perfectly with the smaller P-K356 knob.

Two rows of 18 U-style terminals (36 total) on a black board. This U-style terminal strip is extra dense with 6.35mm terminal spacing allowing for even more densely populated point-to-point builds. The boards are 0.063” thick.

Prototyping circuit board with a standard long strip pattern where tracks run the length of the board. The long tracks are convenient for power and ground rails, and for signal buses. Strips can be cut as needed to make smaller tracks and circuit pads and the board has 0.1" hole spacing for DIP integrated circuits/ headers as well as other parts. Higher quality than traditional stripboard, the holes are drilled, not punched.

This AC adapter powers several older models of Dunlop pedals, which required a 3.5 mm, or 1/8”, plug as opposed to the 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel plug required by current models.

High-quality USA made knobs from Rogan Corp. These medium pointer knobs from Rogan’s PT Series feature a soft rubber grip molded over a solid polymer knob. PT Series knobs can be found on synthesizer modules from Make Noise, Mutable Instruments and others. Fits 6mm D-shafts.

MPSA63 PNP Darlington transistor (TO-92 package) - designed for high gain, low noise general purpose amplifier applications.

High quality 24AWG wire from Weico featuring a topcoat of solder over the strands. This wire is pre-tinned in the sense that a coating of solder is already applied, bonding the individual strands together so no additional tinning is required. This wire is ready to go as soon as it is cut and stripped making assembly that much easier. Rated at 300V and offered in a variety of colors, this wire is a great option for a variety of different projects.

1/4" Mono 2 Conductor Jack, Transfer Circuit. Used in Fender, part number: 004-1701-000. Includes nut and washer.

PCB for converting SMD TQFP-64 packages to through hole DIP-64 footprints with 0.9" width (wide DIP). Solder the device to this PCB then attach pin headers (sold seperately) to connect to through hole footprints on PCBs, breadboards and IC sockets.

Three conductor Flexstrip ribbons cables. These ribbons feature a nomex insulator so there are no melting issues when soldering. Unlike typical ribbon cables, the wires are designed to distribute the stress of the bend and vibrations throughout the entire cable rather than directly on the solder joints.
