BC238B NPN transistor in a TO-92 package. The BC238 is used in a variety of vintage pedals such as the Schaller Fuzz, a version of the Brian May treble boost,and later Jen / Tonebender fuzz pedals. The BC238B is a variant of the BC108B and works well in other classic fuzz pedals such as Fuzz Face and Big Muff builds.

TL061 single op amp in an 8-pin DIP package. The JFET-input operational amplifiers of the TL06x series are designed as low-power versions of the TL08x series amplifiers. They feature high input impedance, wide bandwidth, high slew rate, and low input offset and input bias currents. The TL06x series features the same terminal assignments as the TL07x and TL08x series. 1N60 point-contact germanium diodes in a DO-7 package with striped clear glass. 1N60 diodes were used in many vintage electronics and also make for great clipping diodes in stompbox effects pedals.

Two rows of 8 U-style terminals (16 total) on a black board. The U-style terminal strips are spaced 8.3mm apart allowing for more densely populated point-to-point builds. The boards are 0.063” thick.

Solderless (plug-in) breadboard with 400 connection tie-points (i.e. 400 wire insertion holes) and 4 power rails. Solderless breadboards are great for building and testing new circuits because parts can be easily inserted and removed making them completely re-usable. This breadboard has a 300 tie-point IC-circuit area plus four 25 tie-point power rails. The housing is made of white ABS plastic, with a printed legend giving numbers and letters for columns and rows. The internal contacts are phosphor bronze with a plated nickel finish and a peelable adhesive tape backing is provided for attaching it to a surface. The 2N2222A is a NPN transistor in a TO-18 metal case. The 2N2222A is commonly used in fuzz pedals.

MPSA14 NPN Darlington transistor (TO-92 package) - designed for high gain, low noise general purpose amplifier applications.

The PadBoard-2 prototyping circuit board has a general purpose pad-per-hole pattern which is good for analog and digital use. It is a double-sided board with plated holes, which allows components to be soldered to either side of the board. A square pad is provided every 5th hole, which makes it easy to align components on the top and bottom of the board. Features

Switchcraft Type 12B Littel-Jax stereo phone jack. Mates with standard ¼" plugs and is available with 0.25" inside diameter bushing. Stereo 3-Conductor double open circuit (does not have switched terminal). Includes nut and washer.

PCB for converting SMD SSOP-20 SSI2140 chips to through hole DIP-18 SSM2040 chips. This adapter makes the SSI2140 pin for pin compatible with the original IC. Solder the device to this PCB then attach pin headers (sold seperately) to connect to through hole footprints on PCBs, breadboards and IC sockets.

Phenolic PCBs with similar styling to the eyelet/fiberboard used in vintage equipment. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. 2N169 NPN germanium transistors in an oval package. The oval package is sometimes referred to as a top hat package. The 2N169 is a popular NPN for fuzz pedals and other effects. The NPN polarity allows for use with standard pedal power supplies.

3 pole open 1/4" jack, 3 contacts, with washer and nut, panel thickness 3.5 mm, with 0.205" faston tabs

Depending on the manufacturer, this enclosure is usually very similar to a 125B.
Aluminum enclosure with countersunk lid that machine screws into drilled and tapped holes. Lap joint construction provides protection from dust and water. Vibra finished, no sharp edges.
