TC7660S charge pump voltage converter in an 8 pin DIP package. The TC7660S device is a pin-compatible replacement for the industry standard 7660 charge pump voltage converter. It converts a +1.5V to +12V input to a corresponding -1.5V to -12V output using only two low-cost capacitors, eliminating inductors and their associated cost, size and electromagnetic interference (EMI). Added features include an extended supply range to 12V, and a frequency boost pin for higher operating frequency, allowing the use of smaller external capacitors. The on-board oscillator operates at a nominal frequency of 10 kHz. Frequency is increased to 45 kHz when pin 1 is connected to V+.

The XVive MN3005 is a drop-in replacement for the original Panasonic 4096-stage MN3005 BBD chip used in many delay pedals and effects. Xvive Audio’s first-ever product was the MN3005: a re-creation of the legendary bucket brigade chip used in the Deluxe Memory Man and many other iconic effect pedals and instruments. Now, the Xvive MN3005 is at the heart of delay pedals produced by some of the world’s top effect pedal brands. The MN3005 is the world’s first 4096-stage long-delay BBD—eight times longer than the 512-stage BBD. It is manufactured using a P-channel low-noise silicon gate process. A long-signal delay time of 205 ms can be obtained at a clock frequency 10 kHz, with a sound-to-noise ratio of 75dB. This ratio is an improvement of 20dB, as compared to eight connected 512-stage BBDs!

Great replacement for stomp-box effects requiring a latching DPDT (Double Pole, Double Throw) switch. AC125V/4A AC250V/2A.

Iss. 2 fuzz PCB made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This PCB is a recreation of the iss. 2 circuit board found in classic Fuzz Face pedals. The iss. 2 version uses NPN silicon transistors. When drawing the layout, multiple originals were closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. The copper traces have a surface treatment providing protection from corrosion. This classic board fits the mounting holes on both original and reproduction Fuzz Face enclosures. The BC183 is a general purpose NPN transistor in a TO-92 case. The BC183 is commonly used in fuzz pedals and has a reputation as a warm sounding silicon transistor for fuzz.

OP275 dual audio op amp in an 8-pin DIP package. The OP275 is the first amplifier to feature the Butler Amplifier front end. This new front end design combines both bipolar and JFET transistors to attain amplifiers with the accuracy and low noise performance of bipolar transistors, and the speed and sound quality of JFETs. Total Harmonic Distortion plus Noise equals that of previous audio amplifiers, but at much lower supply currents. A very low l/f corner of below 6 Hz maintains a flat noise density response. Whether noise is measured at either 30 Hz or 1 kHz, it is only 6 nVHz. The JFET portion of the input stage gives the OP275 its high slew rates to keep distortion low, even when large output swings are required, and the 22 V/µs slew rate of the OP275 is the fastest of any standard audio amplifier.

2N4061 PNP transistors. This is a silicon PNP transistor in a TO-92 package. The 2N4061 has been used in a variety of effects pedals and is most notably used in the Zonk Machine II.

When drawing the layout, an original board was closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. Since the MKII boards were cut from stripboard, this board follows the same format but is completely ready for soldering with precut traces and drilled mounting holes. The build style is very straightforward on the Mk2. It is a standard stripboard build and follows a very linear circuit path across the board.The copper traces have a surface treatment providing protection from corrosion.
