Genuine Dunlop replacement fuzz potentiometer for JDF2 Fuzz Face. 1 kΩ, linear, solid plastic shaft. Made In U.K.

Stripboard made with a phenolic substrate. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This stripboard features standard 0.1” (2.54mm) spacing. The board has a 30x15 grid (15 strips) and easily fits into 1590BB style enclosures and larger vintage-style fuzz enclosures. Each strip is gold coated making soldering easier than most protoboards and also ensures a long shelf life. Features:

1590N1 / 125B diecast enclosure finished in a hammered green powdercoat. Equivalent to Hammond P-H1590N1. Depending on the manufacturer, this enclosure is usually very similar to a 125B.

Black plastic control knob with set screw and brass insert. The grip has a thick vertical knurl with an indicator line on a raised top. This skirted knob is a close match to the knobs used on some late 1960s Fuzz Face® pedals as well as the Eric Johnson signature model. Fits ¼” (6.35mm) pot shafts.

Set screw with brass insert, ¼" shaft. Measures 1.28" diameter x .71" tall.

Premium versions of the pseudo eyelet boards with 7.5mm spacing. The premium versions feature 2.4mm thick boards with gold plated contacts. These PCBs have similar styling to the eyelet/fiberboard used in vintage equipment. The spacing between pads is 7.5mm horizontally and 26mm vertically. The two mounting holes have a 3.2mm diameter to fit M3 or 4-40 hardware and also fit the S-H190 adhesive standoffs perfectly. For standard versions, see P-HTB-X. 2x8 Board:

PCB and parts kit for the Iss 1 fuzz built in the style of the standard germanium Fuzz Face. This kit includes all of the resistors, capacitors, and transistors used on the included circuit board. The germanium PNP transistors are not included such that customers can select and test their own.

High quality chassis mount battery holder. This steel holder fits standard 9V batteries. The vertical mount and small footprint of the holder are great for narrow spaces and work well for any project. See S-H158 for horizontal-mount.

Pre-drilled wedge shaped pedal enclosure by Mod® Electronics. The shape of this folded steel enclosure is inspired by the original FZ-1 and FZ-1A Fuzz Tone enclosures but the predilled layout is inspired by the Octavio and the early Carlsbro fuzz. This provides a classic pedal design with a layout that is more compatible with modern pedalboards than the original Fuzz Tone layout. The layout is intended for two pots, two jacks, and a footswitch so many fuzz varieties can be built in this enclosure. The wedge shaped fuzz enclosure features a hinged bottom cover for easy access to the battery. The four screws that attach the bottom are included.

PCB and parts kit for the Iss 2 fuzz built in the style of a BC183KA Fuzz Face. This kit includes all of the resistors, capacitors, and transistors used on the included circuit board. For the BC183KA style parts kit, a pair of BC183A transistors are included.

Prototyping circuit board with a standard long strip pattern where tracks run the length of the board. The long tracks are convenient for power and ground rails, and for signal buses. Strips can be cut as needed to make smaller tracks and circuit pads and the board has 0.1" hole spacing for DIP integrated circuits/ headers as well as other parts. Higher quality than traditional stripboard, the holes are drilled, not punched.

Two rows of 12 U-style terminals (24 total) on a black board. This U-style terminal strip is extra dense with 6.35mm terminal spacing allowing for even more densely populated point-to-point builds. The boards are 0.063” thick. This 24 lug turret board is a close match to the board found in Burns BuzzAround pedals.

Black stripboard featuring a 0.15” vintage spacing. This spacing is great for vintage-style builds and more easily accommodates axial capacitors and other larger sized vintage parts like resistors and transistors. The board has 40 x 20 holes (20 strips). Each strip is HASL coated making soldering easier than most protoboards and also ensures a long shelf life. Features:

High quality chicken head knobs with vintage gaunt design. The gaunt chicken head has a thinner band that extends above the base allowing for easy manipulation of the knob. This knob has a thick infilled indicator line and is made of solid phenolic. Fits 0.25” (6.35mm) shafts with set screw and brass insert.

Cable for connecting 9V batteries to pedals via their DC input jack. This cable is great for using batteries with pedals that don’t have a battery compartment or for quickly switching from a power supply to a battery. This cable is 3 ¼” inches in length. The barrel plug has a 5.5mm outer diameter and 2.1mm inner diameter. Battery not included.

PCB mount terminal pin made of tinned brass. This pin fits 0.064” mounting holes and can be swage or solder mounted. The pin diameter is 0.05” and has a total length of 0.25” when mounted. Great for connecting offboard wiring by soldering directly to the pin or using an appropriate connector.

TC1044 charge pump voltage converter in an 8 pin DIP package. The TC1044S is a pin-compatible upgrade to the Industry standard TC7660 charge pump voltage converter. It converts a +1.5V to +12V input to a corresponding –1.5V to –12V output using only two low cost capacitors, eliminating inductors and their associated cost, size and EMI. Added features include an extended supply range to 12V, and a frequency boost pin for higher operating frequency, allowing the use of smaller external capacitors. The on-board oscillator operates at a nominal frequency of 10kHz. Frequency is increased to 45kHz when pin 1 is connected to V+.
