The AS194H is a junction isolated ultra well-matched monolithic NPN transistor pair with an order of magnitude improvement in matching over conventional transistor pairs. Electrical characteristics of these devices such as drift versus initial offset voltage, noise, and the exponential relationship of base-emitter voltage to collector current closely approach those of a theoretical transistor. Extrinsic base and emitter resistances are very low, giving very low noise and operating over a wide current range. To guarantee long term stability of matching parameters, internal clamp diodes have been added across the emitter-base junction of each transistor. These prevent degradation due to reverse biased emitter current, the most common cause of field failures in matched devices.

Extra heavy duty carbon zinc batteries from GP. The GP Greencell AA is a favorite for fuzz pedals like the FZ-1 / FZ-1A and is the stock battery for many boutique builders such as Pigdog and others. Additionally, these batteries are a great choice for any low current battery powered pedal or other devices.

ACY31 PNP germanium transistors. The ACY31 is a popular PNP for fuzz pedals and other effects. The ACY31 can be found in the rare CSL Super Fuzz version of the MKIV Tone Bender. This transistor is in a TO-1 package with long leads commonly found on germanium transistors.

Small phenolic pointer knobs with a set screw and brass insert. These distinctive pointers are close matches for the classic knobs used on Fairchild compressors like the 660 / 670. Each pointer features a V-shaped painted inlay indicator. Fits ¼” (6.35mm) pot shafts.

Stripboard made with a phenolic substrate. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This stripboard features a 0.15” vintage spacing. This spacing is great for vintage-style builds and more easily accommodates axial capacitors and other larger sized vintage parts like resistors and transistors. The board has a 40 x 20 holes (20 strips). Each strip is surface treated making soldering easier than most protoboards and also ensures a long shelf life. SFT353 PNP germanium transistors. The SFT353 is a popular PNP for fuzz pedals and other effects. This transistor is in a 18B4 package with long leads commonly found on germanium transistors. This style of package can be found in Italian built Vox Tonebenders.

The NJM2120 is a dual operational amplifier of 2-INPUT and 1-OUTPUT with analog switch. The NJM2120 can be used as analog switch under the condition of GV=0dB, as Switch + Amp in order that each gain (A or B) can be adjusted independently. Each amplifier of the NJM2120 has the same electrical characteristics as the NJM4558. The NJM2120 is suitable for audio, video, electrical musical instrument, etc.

Pure Tone has developed a high quality 1/4" three pole (stereo) jack using a new patented design that improves upon and offers a more reliable connection than standard 1/4" jacks. The Pure Tone design features two springs for both the tip connection, a spring for the ring, and an additional spring for the shield connection. These help to secure the plug into place and create a greater surface area connection at contact points to improve stability and signal integrity. These jacks also increase the current capability of 1/4" connections.

The AS3046 is Alfa’s version of the CA3046 IC in an SOIC package. The AS3046D consists of five general purpose silicon NPN transistors on a common monolithic substrate. Two of the transistors are internally connected to form a differentially-connected pair. The transistors are well suited to a wide variety of applications in low power systems. They may be used as discrete transistors in conventional circuits however, in addition, they provide the very significant inherent integrated circuit advantages of close electrical and thermal matching. The AS3046D is available in a 14-pin SOIC package. Features

Solderable PC BreadBoard enables you to transfer your circuit and wires from a plug-in breadboard without recutting wires or changing your layout. This breadboard has the same pattern as a standard 400 connection point solderless plug-in breadboard which has a standard 5-hole strip for each IC pin, just like solderless breadboards. However, it has the advantage that soldered joints provide a more reliable long-term connection than solderless contacts. The board has four power rails like solderless breadboards, plus two bonus rails for power or signals. There are bonus two-hole pads along the centerline allowing DIL (dual in-line) headers to be used as well as a top side silkscreen to position components. Four mounting holes allow your projects to be secured.

MKIII & MKIV fuzz circuit board made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of the circuit board found in Vox Tone Bender MKIII pedals. The board is styled after the non-reverse version that can also be found in the Park Fuzz Sound, Rotosound Fuzz, and the MKIV Tone Bender. When drawing the layout, original boards were closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. The copper traces have a surface treatment providing protection from corrosion. This board uses a unique PCB mount potentiometer R-VOMUP-100KL. A matching enclosure P-HROTO-1 can be used with the board to complete a vintage style fuzz build. 2N408 PNP germanium transistors. The 2N408 is a popular PNP for fuzz pedals and other effects. The 2N408 was popularly used in the germanium version of the Fuzzrite by Mosrite along with the 2N2613.

Iss. 1 fuzz PCB made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This PCB is a recreation of the iss. 1 circuit board found in classic Fuzz Face pedals. When drawing the layout, multiple originals were closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. The copper traces are gold plated providing protection from corrosion indefinitely. This classic board fits the mounting holes on both original and reproduction Fuzz Face enclosures.

Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This PCB is a recreation of the iss. 2 circuit board found in classic Fuzz Face pedals.
