DeoxIT® D5 is a contact cleaner featuring a deoxidizing solution that acts fast to dissolve oxides, sulfides, and corrosion that forms on metal. DeoxIT® Fader FN5 is a non-flammable precision lubricant and cleaner for moving contact surfaces (faders, switches, potentiometers and other mechanisms with sliding surfaces). It replenishes lubrication lost on surfaces that have been cleaned with solvents or other cleaning solutions. FN5 lubricates and protects plastic to plastic and plastic to metal surfaces.

DeoxIT® Fader Spray (formerly CaiLube MCL, MCL100S-L2) is a precision lubricant for moving contact surfaces (faders, switches, potentiometers and other mechanisms with sliding surfaces). It replenishes lubrication lost on surfaces that have been cleaned with solvents or other cleaning solutions.

Potentiometer cleaning caps for use with aerosol cleaners such as DeoxIT. This is a great tool for difficult to clean potentiometers such as those on hollow body guitars and certain amp chassis. The design pushes the spray in through the bushing of the potentiometer removing the need to access the back of the potentiometer. To use: Remove the knob and thread the cleaning cap onto the potentiometer. If there is enough bushing, attach the rubber o-ring first. If not, simply thread the cleaning cap onto the bushing and place a rag around it. Using a rag is recommended with and without the o-ring. Insert the DeoxIT straw into the small hole on the side of the cleaning cap. Cover the open end with your finger and spray. The cleaning solution is directed to the shaft of the pot where it can seep in. You can turn split shaft pots with a screwdriver through the open end to help move the cleaner around inside the pot.

First Time Use: Depress tip on a surface for a minute or two until liquid flows. Pull out tip and reverse to speed up activating.
Notes: Use when over spray is an issue on materials. Formulation safe on plastics. Recommend wiping off excess, leaving a thin layer. After application, if you notice a green or black discoloration (sometimes over time), this indicates it is doing its job (dissolving oxidation) and improving the connection.
