DeoxIT® Fader FN5 is a non-flammable precision lubricant and cleaner for moving contact surfaces (faders, switches, potentiometers and other mechanisms with sliding surfaces). It replenishes lubrication lost on surfaces that have been cleaned with solvents or other cleaning solutions. FN5 lubricates and protects plastic to plastic and plastic to metal surfaces.

Improves conductivity, maintains optimum signal quality, reduces fretting & dendrite corrosion, and stabilizes connections between similar and dissimilar metals. DeoxIT® GOLD (formerly ProGold), is a unique conditioning solution that improves conductivity and provides long-lasting protection on gold, base metals and other precious metal contacts and connections (gold, silver, rhodium, copper, bronze, nickel, etc.).Use on plated connectors, contacts and metal surfaces for maximum performance and protection. Recommended for critical applications where only slight cleaning action is necessary. If the surface looks clean, applying DeoxIT® contact cleaner first is usually not necessary. DeoxIT® GOLD is designed to dissolve small amounts of oxidation.

Conductive Carbon Coating for most surfaces (rubber, epoxy, glass, plastic). It is ideal for repairing membrane buttons, keyboard buttons, and other carbon based surfaces. Ideal for field service, data processing equipment, audio/video equipment, electronic and mechanical assembly, imaging equipment, medical devices, communications equipment, precision parts, etc.

CAIG DeoxIT brand tip tinner 14.2 gram jar, soldering tip cleaner and conditioner. For cleaning and protecting of soldering iron tips. Prevents oxidation of tips. Keep your soldering iron tip optimized for accepting solder and efficiently heating your soldering surfaces for an easy flow of solder between the iron’s tip and your work. To use, dip the heated soldering iron tip into the compound. (Keep the lid on the container when not in use). A double sided tape on the bottom allows you to secure the jar to your soldering station.

Potentiometer cleaning caps for use with aerosol cleaners such as DeoxIT. This is a great tool for difficult to clean potentiometers such as those on hollow body guitars and certain amp chassis. The design pushes the spray in through the bushing of the potentiometer removing the need to access the back of the potentiometer. To use: Remove the knob and thread the cleaning cap onto the potentiometer. If there is enough bushing, attach the rubber o-ring first. If not, simply thread the cleaning cap onto the bushing and place a rag around it. Using a rag is recommended with and without the o-ring. Insert the DeoxIT straw into the small hole on the side of the cleaning cap. Cover the open end with your finger and spray. The cleaning solution is directed to the shaft of the pot where it can seep in. You can turn split shaft pots with a screwdriver through the open end to help move the cleaner around inside the pot.

The pen applicator gives you more control over the regular spray. Contains DeoxIT® 100% solution. No solvent. 7 ML of solution. The 5% solutions contain petroleum naphtha as the carrier solvent, the 100% solutions, i.e. pens, do not contain a solvent.

Applicator: Pen, provides NO flushing action, applies 100% DeoxIT® Gold.
Formulation: 100% DeoxIT® Gold.
Use: When contact and connector are easily accessible. No flushing action.
First Time Use: Depress tip on a surface for a minute or two until liquid flows. Pull out tip and reverse to speed up activating.
Notes: Use when over spray is an issue on materials. Formulation safe on plastics. Recommend wiping off excess, leaving a thin layer. After application, if you notice a green or black discoloration (sometimes over time), this indicates it is doing its job (dissolving oxidation) and improving the connection.
