High quality SD90 tuners from Gotoh with brass posts and internal washers. Brass posts were used by Gibson® until 1975 and by Fender® until 1966. Unlike the common steel components, brass string posts and internal washers improve vibration transmission, resulting in a sound that is similar to the original vintage tuning machines. The introduction of the new Grover Locking Rotomatics® gives you the ease of use provided by a standard tuner and the positive locking of our internal cam post. Simply insert the string through the string hole, pull to tension by hand and begin tuning. As you start to tune, only the locking cam in the string post turns. Once the string is locked, the string post begins to turn allowing you to bring the string to pitch. In less than one revolution of the string post, you will be in tune, to stay in tune. Gear ratio is 18 to 1.

Machine heads without a sealed gear are criticized for not having the same smooth performance, efficiency and durability that sealed gear tuners have. The SD series solves these problems by combining "Rock-solid" technology and the post collar or: "Self-Center Guide", found on enclosed gears in the base plate of the gear allowing the post to perfectly align itself with the bushing which attaches the gear to the headstock. The SD series uses a torque balancer to ensure steady rotation of the tuner button giving high quality sound performance as well as great functionality. Through its use of the ideal materials selected for each component part you also obtain a far superior sound. Mounting hardware included.

3 per side. New Kluson® 19:1 ratio die-cast tuning machine set for contemporary guitars. These state of the art diecast tuners are designed for usage on contemporary guitars and utilize the same mounting hole common to Grover 305 series medium tuners as well as the common Gotoh tuner with the mounting screw located offset at approximately 7 O'clock or 5 O'clock depending on left or right handed application. Uses the common modern 25/64 in. (10mm) peghole with a hex head type screw-in bushing and single mounting screw. All mounting hardware is included.

This design requires an individual mounting hole location offset at approximately 7 O'clock or 4 O'clock depending on left or right handed application (bass or treble side). Uses the common modern 25/64 in. (10mm) peghole with a hex head type screw-in bushing and single mounting screw. This is a 3 + 3 set of tuning machines with all mounting hardware included.
