The ST-Classic is an amazing homage to the 1960’s strat pickup. With staggered Alnico 5 rod magnets, vulcanized fiberboard flatwork, and enamel coated wire, the ST-Classic offers a truly vintage sound. These pickups are wax potted for sonic stability, feature a bevel on the magnets, and use cloth pushback wire for an easy and clean install. A cover, mounting screws and springs are included. Made in Japan.

This is an ultra sweet sounding, low output-pickup. The vintage single coil specifications offer a tight, balanced low end response and sweet chimey highs. If you are looking for a true vintage tone that ISN'T modified to sound like a 60 year old pickup, this is an excellent upgrade. Great for blues and classic old school funk applications.
