This book offers a simplified method for designing tube power amps for audio. Tube operation is explained, as are circuit principles. Class-A or B, cathode, fixed bias, and push-pull and single-ended designs are covered, as are many front-end circuits. Includes designs using off-the-shelf transformers and current production tubes. Power outputs of 15 to 400W are depicted using pentodes and true triodes. Also, covers power supplies, selected tube data, and information on Hammond and Plitron transformers. The D&S is a classic Maxon distortion pedal. Heavily inspired by the Big Muff Pi, the D&S takes the famous transistor based circuit and refines it into a versatile effect with an improved EQ and an expanded range of distortion. Features

The OD9Pro+ is the OD9 with all of the bells and whistles. This pedal features the famous circuit with some of the most popular mods built in and accessible with the flip of a switch. The OD9Pro+ offers the classic overdrive sound of the original and can push even further with the boost switch engaged.

The OOD9 is the updated version of the original Maxon overdrive pedal, the OD880. This overdrive is equipped with NJM4558D op amps for a warm and low-noise overdrive that pairs perfectly with tube amplifiers and other distortion pedals. The OOD9 offers a dynamic response that preserves the tone of the input providing a smooth and clear overdriven sound.

The SM9Pro is an upgraded version of the classic SM9 from Maxon. The original core of the circuit was kept intact and bolstered to meet the needs of heavy metal guitarists. A refined EQ control featuring an adjustable mid scoop allows users to dial in the perfect balance for their sound. The gain control provides sounds that range from classic heavy metal to the devastating tones of modern metal.

The Smooth BS 15N/350A is a 15" neodymium speaker with 350 watts of power. Smooth Sound speakers are extremely clean and round with superb headroom. Equipped with neodymium magnets and aluminium baskets, they offer great linear excursion and dynamics. They are ideal for modern styles where extended low end is required. Neodymium magnets offer a 50% reduction in weight guaranteeing very light systems. The proprietary aluminium basket was specially designed to avoid sound wave reflections on the rear side of the cone, thereby allowing for faster and better cooling of both the voice coil and the air moved by it. The 15'' bass speaker provides a full and warm low-end that will fill the room.

The C12D is able to return the powerful, organic, warm tone and character of a classic guitar amplifier, but also the treble content and the complex harmonics of the overdrive, modulation, delay and reverb effects, as well as the crisp, natural tone of an amplified acoustic guitar.

A worthy successor to the Vintage 10, the G10 Vintage is a 10" speaker with bags of attitude. Using powerful ceramic magnets and the same voice coil design as the Vintage 30, the G10 packs an impressive punch with its 60W power handling. With the fast response of a 10" but with the strong and creamy vocal tones of a 12", the G10 is the ideal choice to add depth to hollow-sounding amps, or for players who want to get humbucker-type girth from single-coils. Celestion guitar speakers have been an important part of British guitar tone since the birth of Rock & Roll. Inspired by our favourite modern American tones, the A-Type is a different kind of guitar speaker from Celestion. The Celestion Ruby is vintage voiced alnico speaker that straddles the classic chime of the Blue and celebrated warmth of the modern Cream. This versatile 35 watt speaker is an excellent choice for a 4x12 cabinet and really shines in a single 12” cabinet or combo amp. The Celestion Ruby offers guitar players the ability to discover new tones within the spectrum of vintage sound.

With a massive 100W power rating, this speaker sits perfectly in high-power or hybrid amplifiers. It voices a modern sound with a big bass presence.

The Tornado Stealth 80 is the Neodymium counterpart of the ceramic powered Electric Lightning. The Stealth 80 is extremely efficient, with slightly scooped mids, and it shines in the cleanest as well as in the heaviest tonal applications. It delivers exceptional punch and attack, retaining all the clarity needed for palm-muted riffs and power chords, as well as crystal clear clean rhythm playing.
