Carbon composition resistors are made by mixing carbon particles with a binder molded into a cylindrical shaped, and then baked. Resistance decreases as temperature increases. Resistance is more prone to drifting than with other types. Standard 'classic' resistor. Sold in multiples of 5. 10% tolerance.

This board is a recreation of the MKI circuit board found in early Tone Bender pedals. When drawing the layout, an original board was closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. Since the MKI boards were hand drilled, the holes have an organic layout that was somewhat unique to each build. This board follows the exact hole pattern of one of these original builds. The build style is also fairly unique in the MK1. It is a point to point style board without eyelets or turrets. The leads of the parts are wrapped upward around the edge of the board and then solder is applied to connect the components. Parts Kit - Eyelet-Rite Fuzz Pedal, Germanium Version, Premium Build PCB and parts kit for the Eyelet-Rite fuzz pedal. This is based on the point to point version of the germanium Mosrite Fuzzrite pedal. This kit includes all of the resistors, capacitors, eyelets, and the footswitch used on the included circuit board. The germanium PNP transistors are not included such that customers can select and test their own.
